Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Estate Operations Manager to be responsible for the day-to-day management of our family-owned private estate assets in the rural community. This role requires a hands-on professional who can oversee maintenance, development, and daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain interior and exterior housing functions and infrastructure (HVAC, appliances, plumbing, lighting, water supply, generators, septic tanks, etc.) by performing regular checks, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating third-party services as needed.
  • Oversee and respond to service requests from our principals, assigning tasks to the right teams (property maintenance, IT, security) and following up on progress to ensure quality.
  • Schedule and manage full-time cleaning staff, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Daily check smart home monitoring systems, identifying issues and prioritizing tasks to assign to internal or external service providers.
  • Collaborate with internal personnel (security, IT, accounting, operations, legal) on residential property-related tasks.
  • Build and maintain preferred supplier and service provider rosters, verifying their skills and quality of work.
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets for capital projects and repairs.
  • Maintain detailed logs of property and equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Provide weekly updates to our representatives on-site.
  • Coordinate permit applications and reviews.
  • Review and approve invoices.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in general contracting or a qualified skilled trade is required.
  • Ability to perform physical and technical tasks requiring strength, coordination, and dexterity.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Effective time management and multitasking skills.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn new skills, and excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to work weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to execute tasks safely and efficiently.
