Job Overview

The Mid-sized Infrastructure Contractor is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager to provide coordination and management duties on given projects. The successful candidate will assist in scheduling construction works, archiving project documentation, and tracking job costs and progress.

Main Responsibilities:
- Assist Commissioning Manager, Superintendent & Project Manager with project performance
- Create and maintain relationships with project owners, consultants, suppliers and subtrades
- Coordinate construction tasks, equipment and system commissioning activities
- Maintain accurate and up to date RFI and RFQ logs
- Log and maintain records of site documentation, preventative maintenance and inspections associated with Occupational Health and Safety Program
- Participate in basic layout and field engineering activities

Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in related science, engineering or construction management discipline
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel & Word - preference for candidates with prior experience in CAD, Microsoft Project & Bluebeam REVU
- Effective communicator, both verbally and written
- Valid driver's license

About the Role:
This role offers the opportunity to develop management skills and manage smaller projects as they develop. The ideal candidate has a natural analytical approach, impeccable organizational skills, and a steadfast work ethic.
