The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience working with BIM software, including REVIT, ArchiCAD, Bentley, NavisWorks, Digital Project, ProjectWise, Vico, AutoCAD, NavisWorks, Google SketchUp, or other 3D systems experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
This role involves developing and preparing construction coordination drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, specification sheets, and other data. The successful candidate will also work with the construction teams to facilitate collaboration and communication for designing and modeling entire HVAC/electrical systems.
In this position, you will assist with the preparation of construction coordination/interference plans and other drawings for new construction and upgrade/rebuild projects. You will be responsible for ensuring designs conform to applicable standards and performing system modeling that is installable and relevant to meet code requirements.
You will work closely with project managers and construction managers to develop project-specific processes for creating 3D information for estimating, logistics, planning, scheduling, coordination, field layout, and/or facility management. Additionally, you will support foremen and project managers in producing coordination drawings and BIM models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and prepare construction coordination drawings
