Responsibilities:

  • Act as a project manager or multidisciplinary coordinator for major projects related to dams and hydroelectric facilities.
  • Supervise the design of hydraulic structures and works.
  • Participate in the management and technical coordination of major projects.
  • Participate in the preparation of proposals.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Master technical solutions and ensure their adequacy with clients' needs.
  • Plan project stages, monitor the progress of deliverables, and ensure compliance with the schedule.
  • Ensure quality control of project practices.
  • Support and verify the work of other specialized engineers (civil/structural, hydraulic, heavy mechanical, geotechnical, or electrical).
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of engineers, technicians, and draftspersons involved in the projects.

Qualifications:

  • University Degree in Civil or Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • Master's Degree, Business Administration Diploma, or Project Management certification (an asset).
  • More than ten (10) years of experience in the field of hydroelectricity/hydropower and dams.
  • Member of l'Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or eligible to register.
  • This position requires bilingual proficiency as a fundamental skill, empowering you to engage effectively with our diverse stakeholders, including clients, partners, and cross-functional teams in both French and English nationwide.
