Senior Project Manager - Geotechnical Services

About the Role

As a Senior Project Manager in our Geotechnical Group, you will be responsible for managing large-scale geotechnical projects, designing structures, reviewing technical reports, and ensuring timely and budget-friendly completion. You will make key decisions and technical recommendations when:

  • Participating in the construction of bridges and tunnels to connect our communities.
  • Building schools, hospitals, and public spaces to serve our citizens.
  • Managing and carrying out large-scale geotechnical studies.
  • Identifying risks inherent to the activities.
  • Managing complex technical situations.
  • Participating in service proposals.
  • Ensuring administrative and financial management of mandates, and maintaining relationships with clients.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in civil or geological engineering.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including several years in infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Fluency in French for writing technical reports.
  • Knowledge of English for collaboration with internal teams outside Quebec or with clients.
  • A Master's degree in civil or geological engineering is an asset.
  • Authorship of technical publications is a plus.
