Compensation
The salary range for this position is $85,280.00 to $135,200.00 per year, commensurate with experience relative to this position.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Water Industry Project Director to join our team in Vancouver. As a key member of our project management group, you will be responsible for leading high-profile projects in the water and wastewater sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and delivery of high-quality results;
- Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, budgeting, and risk management;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and clients, to ensure effective communication and stakeholder satisfaction;
- Mentor and develop junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices within the organization;
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in project delivery.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- An undergraduate degree in Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institute or diploma in Engineering Technology from an accredited technical institute;
- Registration as a professional engineer with EGBC or a technologist with ASTTBC;
- A minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in the engineering consulting industry, focused in the water or wastewater sector;
- Proven project management experience, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
- Self-motivation, a commitment to teamwork, and a desire for career advancement;
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel within Canada.
