About the Role

As a Senior In-Service Support, you will be part of a specialized group within the engineering team, supporting a commercial aircraft program in the capacity of Design Engineer specialist for In-service support.

  • Assess structural damage to aircraft and respond to grounded situations.
  • Investigate in-service problems, resolve source of failures, and find effective solutions.
  • Prepare design reports for certification purposes and design generic repairs for metallic and composite structures.
  • Participate in the design and support of structural modifications.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in repairs for the aerospace industry (In-service, MAP/MRB).
  • Excellent knowledge of aircraft structure and ability to question repairs.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English. French is an asset.
