Design Engineer for In-Service Support

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our In-Service Support team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting commercial aircraft programs in the capacity of Design Engineer specialist for In-service support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess structural damage to aircraft and develop effective repair solutions.
  • Respond to aircraft grounded (AOG) situations and customer engineering requests.
  • Investigate the cause of in-service problems and find innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with the stress department and other specialists to design and implement structural modifications.
  • Prepare design reports for certification purposes.
  • Design generic repairs for metallic and composite structures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in repairs for the aerospace industry (In-service, MAP/MRB).
  • Strong knowledge of CATIA V5 and Enovia.
  • Excellent knowledge of aircraft structure and repair solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office software.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
