As a Senior Specialist, Industrial Security, you will play a critical role in ensuring the protection of individuals, facilities, property, and data belonging to the company and its customers.

About the Role:

You will support the Manager, Industrial Security, in the operational security oversight of all L3Harris MAS facilities, acting as the point of contact for security guards and planning and assisting during safety inspections, including various audits. You will also support the Communication Security (COMSEC) custodian on the development and updating of the emergency plan, assist in the maintenance, update, and annual compliance of the Business Continuity Plan (BCP), and provide advice and support to offsite Alternate Company Security Officers (ACSO).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Manager, Industrial Security, in the operational security oversight of all L3Harris MAS facilities
  • Act as the point of contact for security guards
  • Plan and assist during safety inspections, including various audits
  • Support the Communication Security (COMSEC) custodian on the development and updating of the emergency plan
  • Assist in the maintenance, update, and annual compliance of the Business Continuity Plan (BCP)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience, or a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree
  • In-depth knowledge of industrial security programs and controlled goods
  • Knowledge of the ITAR Regulation is considered an asset
  • Strong technical skills in security systems (cameras, access control, and passes)
  • Bilingualism, French and English (intermediate level, spoken and written) is required
  • Demonstrate discretion, autonomy, judgment, integrity, and reliability

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance
  • Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
