Job Title: Truck Driver

At Skyhawk Transport Services Ltd., we are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle condition and safety
  • Oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance, including tire checks, brake adjustments, and emergency roadside repairs
  • Communicate with central dispatch and relay information as needed
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Bill of lading and driver logbook knowledge
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Flexibility and reliability in a team-oriented setting
