Job Summary

J.B DHILLON BROS LTD is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation of Goods: Load and unload goods, operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Logistics and Communication: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, receive and relay information to central dispatch, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A) and a valid passport.
  • Travel and Work Conditions: Willing to travel cross-border and internationally, and work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a truck driver.
  • Skills: Excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, and team player.
