Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at J.B DHILLON BROS LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials across the country. This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Load and unload goods, operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Documentation: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
Work Environment:

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be willing to travel cross-border and internationally.
