Voyago is seeking a skilled Patient Transfer Attendant to join our team in Kitchener, Ontario

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and compassionate individual to transport patients safely and efficiently via stretcher/wheelchair to/from healthcare facilities, nursing homes, or private residences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport patients safely and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting 250+ lbs. with a partner
  • Hold a valid G class driving license and maintain a clean driving record
  • Obtain a clean Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector screening
  • Provide up-to-date immunization records, including MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19 (2 doses), and TB Skin Test (Step 1)
  • Hold a valid First Responder Certification, AEMCA, or be working towards a Paramedic Diploma (year 1) or be a Firefighter with Emergency Medical Responder Certification
  • Hold a valid CPR and First Aid (Level C) certification
