Job Title: Patient Transfer Attendant - Kitchener

Voyago is seeking a Patient Transfer Attendant to join our team in Kitchener, Ontario.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and compassionate individual to transport patients safely and efficiently to and from healthcare facilities, nursing homes, and private residences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport patients via stretcher or wheelchair
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
  • Meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting and transferring patients

Requirements:

  • Valid First Responder Certification or equivalent
  • Valid CPR and First Aid (Level C) certification
  • Valid G class driving license
  • Ability to lift 250+ lbs. with a partner
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Clean driving record
  • Clean Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector screening
  • Up-to-date immunization records
  • High School diploma or equivalent
