About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Diesel Mechanic Helper to join our team at SNIS EXPRESS LOGISTICS LTD. As a Diesel Mechanic Helper, you will play a crucial role in supporting our diesel mechanics in maintaining and repairing our heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist diesel mechanics in performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment
  • Move tools, equipment, and materials as needed
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Manual dexterity and ability to handle heavy loads
  • Excellent oral communication skills
Work Environment

As a Diesel Mechanic Helper, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload. You will be required to work under pressure and handle heavy loads. The work environment is physically demanding, and you will be required to stand, walk, and bend for long periods.
