About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Assistant to join our team at SNIS EXPRESS LOGISTICS LTD. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our heavy equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tool Management: Safely move and store tools, equipment, and other materials to support maintenance activities.
  • Site Support: Assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed, providing support for installation, maintenance, and repair tasks.
  • Safety Procedures: Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Cleanliness: Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Work Environment

As a Diesel Mechanic Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and physical demands. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, requiring manual dexterity, and the ability to handle heavy loads.
