About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Operating Shift Engineer to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our commercial properties.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Provide day-to-day operations and maintenance of rotating 12 hour shifts, delivering a high level of facilities management services to tenants.
  • Monitor and adjust mechanical equipment, ensuring that all systems are functioning effectively.
  • Ensure work orders are completed in a timely manner and in accordance with all regulations.
  • Record all required readings and maintain accurate records regarding the operation of systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of all building systems.


Requirements:




  • Stationary Engineers 3rd or 4th Class Certificate
  • Knowledge of HVAC equipment and its operation, as well as experience in the operation and maintenance of boilers and related equipment.
  • Ability to perform essential duties of the job, working at heights and ladder work.
  • Possesses strong technical/operational capabilities with past experience in monitoring building systems and equipment.
