About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Audit team as a Business Analyst. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality audit services to our clients, ensuring their financial statements are accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct audits of financial statements, identifying and addressing any material weaknesses or deficiencies
  • Develop and implement audit plans, ensuring effective risk assessment and mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business operations, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for process enhancements
  • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients, ensuring clear and concise reporting
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and standards
Requirements
  • Strong academic record, with a focus on business, finance, or accounting
  • Commitment to achieving the Canadian CPA designation, with a focus on obtaining the required pre-requisite courses
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and mutual support
