Job Description

The VP, After Sales & Services will be responsible for leading global after-sales and services for the Industrial Automation segment. This strategic role will oversee all activities aligned with the Global After-Sales and Service strategy within Industrial Automation, providing leadership by example in adopting streamlined processes, KPI implementation, customer focus, pipeline management, technical aptitude, M&A integration, and exceeding performance goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop a strategic plan and roadmap for implementation to drive consistent growth in the aftermarket portfolio across the segment.
  • Maximize the efficiency of internal and global services resources through robust processes, continuous improvement business systems, and toolsets.
  • Lead the Front End (FE) and Back End (BE) of the Industrial Automation segment after-sales and service business in-line with agreed-upon processes.
  • Directly articulate and deliver value-added service solutions to customers through the equipment life cycle.
  • Leverage standardized global processes and develop performance measurement tools and visual aids focused on delivering profitable growth.
  • Ensure comprehensive use of the CRM system for customer interactions and department activities.
  • Act as the escalation point for Industrial Automation service issues or customer complaints and work them through to resolution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

A minimum of 15 years' experience in sales, operations, and/or service/aftermarket leadership, preferably in lean process management. Previous experience working in custom automation equipment or the Nuclear industry is highly valuable. Excellent sales and customer relationship management skills are essential, along with strong influence and communication skills.
