About the Role:

The Senior Specialist will play a key role in building and executing activations with our key sponsorship partners, on both a national and regional level. This includes project management, communications, employee engagement, content creation, and social media.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Activate national sponsorship investments, including project management, communications, and employee engagement.
  • Support day-to-day administration of sponsorship budgets and process invoices.
  • Lead the day-to-day management and activation of regional sponsorships.
  • Draft reports and presentations for key stakeholders to provide details of proposed activation plans and progress on ongoing campaigns.
  • Support research and measurement initiatives to determine the impact of activation programs on the brand and business.
  • Work with external agencies as required to support sponsorship activations.
  • Act as a consultant for internal business groups on how to strategically leverage sponsorships to drive business results.
  • Manage key partnership deliverables, including ticket and hospitality programs.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify partnership opportunities.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience working in marketing, sponsorship, and/or event management, with a proven track record of successfully managing and implementing campaigns or events.
  • University degree, preferably in business, marketing, sports marketing, and/or event management.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing, sponsorship, and event principles, theories, and practices, including industry trends, developments, and opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess performance and make data-driven decisions within scope.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities to influence positive outcomes with teams and external partners.
  • Self-motivated and self-disciplined with initiative and drive to succeed in a complex environment.
  • Proficiency building dynamic presentations using PowerPoint (or similar applications).
