Job Title: Logistics Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Trans 99 Logistics. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of truck drivers, dispatching routes, and ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of 5-10 truck drivers and staff in various areas of responsibility.
  • Dispatch bus drivers and monitor routes to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Recommend measures to improve work methods and productivity.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure staff are equipped with the necessary skills.
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to meet business objectives.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times.
  • Recommend personnel actions to ensure the right people are in the right roles.
  • Co-ordinate repairs and rentals of equipment and supplies.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.

Requirements:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, and MS Word skills.
