Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Supervisor to join our team at AL AZLAAN LOGISTICS INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our logistics department, ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise a team of 5-10 employees, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance goals.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze reports to identify areas for improvement and optimize logistics operations.
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Materials Management: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cultural Competency: Provides cultural competency training and awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers, newcomers, and refugees.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
Work Environment

37.5 hours per week, permanent position, with a welcoming work environment for all employees.
