Director of Human Resources

Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute strategies to develop, retain, and engage employees.
- Oversee key programs in training and development, performance management, employee wellness, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I).
- Provide strategic support to managers by offering resources and guidance to enhance team performance.
Design, develop, and implement programs, procedures, and strategies to address learning and development needs. Collaborate with department leads to identify training needs and develop targeted programs. Collaborate with enterprise teams to design and implement relevant training and development programs.
Employee Culture and Wellness Programs:Develop and manage wellness initiatives to support physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Plan and deliver a range of employee engagement activities that support the culture and employee well-being. Oversee the bi-annual employee survey and ensure action plans are implemented.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I):Organize training sessions, workshops, and events to promote diversity and awareness. Participate on the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Committee with ACI. Represent Alberici in community outreach, industry events, and local committees, and maintain relationships with industry and community leaders.
HR Consulting:Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management, offering guidance and support on HR-related matters. Collaborate on the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local employment laws and regulations.
Management Responsibilities:Manages Sr. Human Resources Business Partner and internal/external program developers and instructors. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field, with approximately 10 years of relevant experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development or related field a plus.
