Job Description

About the Role

The Cultural Human Resources Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our organization in the field of performing arts and culture. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall strategy and direction of our organization, ensuring that we continue to deliver high-quality programs and services to our community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan to advance the organization's mission and goals
  • Lead and manage a team of staff and volunteers to achieve organizational objectives
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including artists, arts organizations, government agencies, and community groups
  • Oversee the development and implementation of programs and services that promote the arts and culture in our community
  • Manage the organization's budget and finances to ensure fiscal sustainability
  • Represent the organization at local, national, and international levels to promote our mission and goals

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in leading performing arts venues or cultural organizations
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing strategic plans, leading teams, and building relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong financial management skills, with experience in budgeting and financial reporting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the organization at all levels
  • University degree in arts and/or business management or equivalent experience
