Job Title: Retail Store Leader
About the Role:
As a Retail Store Leader at Alberta Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assigning sales workers to their duties and ensuring that they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles
- Hiring and training or arranging for the training of new staff members to ensure that they are equipped to meet the needs of our customers
- Authorizing payments by cheque and maintaining accurate financial records
- Ordering merchandise and maintaining an up-to-date inventory of stock
- Establishing work schedules and ensuring that all employees are aware of their duties and responsibilities
- Preparing reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters to inform business decisions
- Resolving issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
- Organizing and maintaining inventory to ensure that it is accurately stocked and easily accessible to customers
- Supervising and co-ordinating the activities of workers to ensure that they are meeting their targets and providing excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years experience
