About the RoleThe Development and Technology Director will be responsible for leading our technical teams in delivering high-quality software solutions on EA's proprietary game engine, Frostbite. This role will require strong leadership and management skills, as well as a deep understanding of software development methodologies and technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies for the team, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
- Develop and implement effective plans to deliver successful results, managing dependencies, risks, and stakeholders through clear and timely communication.
- Optimize team and development processes to ensure smooth running of deliveries.
- Manage and develop high-performing software development teams, focusing on building trusting relationships and driving continuous improvement.
- 5+ years of professional experience as a scrum/project manager of technical deliveries and people management.
- Proven track record of leading on-time and at-quality deliveries from Agile development teams working in Jira.
- Seasoned in project planning, capacity planning, dependency and risk management, including mitigation techniques.
- People management, career development, and coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback.
- Self-starter with a focus on building trusting relationships and experienced in building high-performing software development teams.
