About the Role

Lundbeck is seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison to join our team in the Psychiatry department. As a Medical Science Liaison, you will play a critical role in driving the local and regional medical strategy for our marketed and emerging products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain peer-level relationships with Canadian Key Opinion Leaders, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders by providing objective scientific information and engaging in balanced discussions.
  • Collect insights into disease management and unmet needs, and bring them back to internal stakeholders to inform strategy development.
  • Advance Lundbeck's presence and medical interests in strategic therapeutic areas.
  • Serve as the primary internal source of product-related, disease area, and competitive knowledge.
Collaboration and Communication
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including field teams, to advance business objectives.
  • Provide ad-hoc medical leadership for critical business activities in other departments.
  • Present data at regional consultation meetings and work collaboratively with medical head office, clinical research organizations, and research site personnel to support local company-sponsored research activities.
Requirements
  • MD, PharmD, Ph.D., or Master's degree in Sciences or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of MSL experience within the Canadian pharmaceutical industry.
  • Scientific expertise in therapeutic field of psychiatry or neurosciences is a strong asset.
  • Superior communication skills, such as speaker, are required.
  • Knowledge of the regulations governing the pharmaceutical industry is required.
  • Fluent in oral and written English; French (written and/or spoken) is a strong asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license.
