Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Psychiatry to enhance our Medical and Regulatory Affairs team. This role is pivotal in advancing our medical strategy across the designated territories.
Your Responsibilities:
The MSL serves as a scientific authority in the field, responsible for executing local and regional medical strategies for both established and emerging products. The role involves building and nurturing professional relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and other relevant stakeholders. The MSL will provide unbiased scientific information, engage in meaningful discussions, and gather insights regarding disease management and unmet medical needs.
Key Duties Include:
- Aligning with the Medical department strategy that supports brand objectives;
- Engaging with KOLs and healthcare professionals to gather insights on disease management and clinical data;
- Facilitating discussions on scientific and clinical information related to our products;
- Identifying educational opportunities for healthcare professionals and stakeholders;
- Delivering balanced and objective presentations to key groups and committees;
- Collaborating with internal teams to enhance the scientific foundation for our brand strategy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partnering with field teams and providing medical leadership across departments;
- Identifying potential clinical investigators for research programs;
- Presenting data at regional meetings and supporting local research activities;
- Delivering scientific training to enhance the capabilities of the sales force.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, Ph.D., or Master's) in a relevant scientific field.
- At least two years of experience as an MSL in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Experience in medical affairs is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge in psychiatry or neuroscience is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills are essential.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations is required.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in French is a plus.
- Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
- A valid driver's license is necessary.
