About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Leadership Development Facilitator. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of education and democracy policy, and to contribute to the development of innovative programs that promote leadership and civic engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners and industry experts to support the development of our public policy work.
  • Identify, train, and mentor youth leaders to support the Dais' public policy work.
  • Co-create and manage project timelines using project management tools to ensure smooth planning and execution.
  • Oversee the logistics of our Dais Learning programs, including learner registration, payment tracking, and platform setup.
  • Facilitate and teach course content, connecting with guest speakers and managing assessments.
  • Lead evaluation and feedback processes to enhance the quality and learner experience of our Dais Learning programs.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in program design, delivery, and evaluation.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to create clear project management timelines and meet deadlines.
  • Proven experience in relationship building and outreach.
  • Strong facilitation skills, with experience working with both youth and adults.
  • Expertise in influencing public policy, advocacy, and community building.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to foster inclusive learning environments that respect equity and diversity principles.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and a dynamic work environment. This is a contract position, with a duration of 6 months, and is a maternity leave cover. The successful candidate will be required to work on campus at least one day a week, with additional in-office days, in-person event attendance, and meetings as required.
