Singh's Construction Ltd is seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team. As a Flooring Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of flooring, including hardwood, carpet, and resilient flooring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Install carpeting on floors, walls, and other surfaces
  • Perform direct glue-down carpet installations and double-bond carpet installations
  • Install outdoor carpets and resilient stair components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 1-7 months of experience in flooring installation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials
Work Environment:

The Flooring Specialist will work in a variety of settings, including construction sites, warehouses, and offices. The work environment will be dusty and may involve exposure to odors.

Language:

The primary language spoken in the workplace is English.

Work Schedule:

The Flooring Specialist will work 30-35 hours per week, with a permanent employment contract.
