Singh's Construction Ltd is seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team. As a Flooring Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of flooring, including hardwood, resilient, and carpet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Install carpeting on floors, walls, and other surfaces
  • Perform direct glue-down carpet installations and double-bond carpet installations
  • Install outdoor carpets and resilient stair components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Ability to distinguish between colours
  • Hand-eye co-ordination
  • Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, judgement, organized, and team player
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
Work Term and Language:
  • Permanent
  • English
Hours:
  • 30 to 35 hours per week
