Job Title: Flooring Installation Specialist

Singh's Construction Ltd is seeking a skilled Flooring Installation Specialist to join our team. As a Flooring Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing various types of flooring, including hardwood, resilient, and carpet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Install flooring on floors, walls, and other surfaces
  • Conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Prepare floors for installations
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to distinguish between colours
  • Hand-eye co-ordination
  • Client focus
  • Efficient interpersonal skills
  • Judgement
  • Organized
  • Team player
Work Environment:
  • Odours
  • Dusty
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
Experience:
  • 1 to less than 7 months
