Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Maze Food Corporation O/A Fresh Burrito is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet our customers' needs.
  • Hire and Manage Staff: Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that they are trained and equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports to management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Setting: Food service establishment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, combination of sitting, standing, and walking, standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
