Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist II to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, preparing patients for examination, and operating nuclear medicine equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for examination, including preparing radiopharmaceuticals and operating nuclear medicine equipment
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with departmental policies
  • Monitor patients during procedures and perform routine quality control tests on imaging equipment
  • Dispense and administer radiopharmaceuticals, and dispose of radioactive substances and contaminated items

Qualifications
  • Degree or diploma in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
  • Current certification with CAMRT and eligible for membership with CAMRT and CAMRT-BC
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent patient care
