Nuclear Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist II to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, preparing patients for examination, and operating nuclear medicine equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for examination, including preparing radiopharmaceuticals and operating nuclear medicine equipment
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with departmental policies
- Monitor patients during procedures and perform routine quality control tests on imaging equipment
- Dispense and administer radiopharmaceuticals, and dispose of radioactive substances and contaminated items
