Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Southlake Regional Health Centre. As a Pharmacy Technician - Cancer Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of anti-cancer treatments to cancer patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain chemotherapy and immunotherapy medications, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
  • Perform Best Possible Medication lists to optimize patient care.
  • Manage inventory and supplies, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Collaborate with the Oncology Team to provide exceptional patient care and support.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP).
  • Completion of a CCAPP-accredited Pharmacy Technician program.
  • Canadian Association of Pharmacy Technician membership.
  • Completion of GCP certification and Division 5 within 3 months of hire.
  • Experience in hospital pharmacy, handling hazardous drugs, and aseptic techniques.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent documentation and computer skills.
  • Commitment to customer service, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
