Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Southlake Regional Health Centre. This is a temporary position until approximately October 2025.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Oncology Team to support the delivery of anti-cancer treatments to cancer patients.
  • Maintain and prepare chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
  • Perform Best Possible Medication lists.
  • Manage inventory and perform other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Licensed by OCP and education obtained from an accredited Pharmacy technician program.
  • Canadian Association of Pharmacy Technician membership.
  • Completion of GCP certification and Division 5 within 3 months of hire.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of aseptic techniques, pharmaceutical arithmetic, and pharmaceutical terminology.
  • Experience in hospital Pharmacy and handling of hazardous drugs.
  • Experience with aseptic technique and Clinical Trials.
  • Demonstrated computer skills and interpersonal skills, communication, and teamwork.
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbal.
  • Commitment to customer service and teamwork.
  • Individual leadership skills and commitment to providing an exceptional experience for patients and families.
