Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Southlake Regional Health Centre. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our pharmacy team in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists with various tasks, including sterile and non-sterile preparations, unit dose pre-packaging, and drug distribution.
  • Perform narcotic issue, purchasing, and receiving supplies, as well as dispensing first dose unit doses and refilling automated dispensing cabinets.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure accurate and efficient medication management.
  • Travel to offsite units to provide Omnicell refill and patient-specific doses.
Requirements
  • Licensed by the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) and education obtained from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to patient safety and quality care.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
