Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician Applicant to join our team at Southlake Regional Health Centre. As a Pharmacy Technician Applicant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy team in providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Perform tasks such as labelling, packaging, and kit assembly, under close supervision and double-checking.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless workflow and efficient patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program (CCAPP accredited).
  • Membership with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
  • Previous hospital experience is an asset.
  • Demonstrated computer skills and knowledge of aseptic techniques, pharmaceutical arithmetic, and pharmaceutical terminology.
  • Excellent communication and problem assessment skills, with a commitment to customer service and teamwork.
  • Individual leadership skills and a commitment to providing an exceptional experience for patients and families.
  • Understanding of the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and a commitment to modelling behaviour that aligns with the values of Southlake Regional Health Centre.
