- Provide input to resolve scheduling conflicts and resource constraints, ensuring that project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Participate in project meetings, including scheduling and planning discussions, to provide updates on progress and potential scheduling risks.
- Identify and communicate potential scheduling risks or delays, working proactively with the project team to develop mitigation strategies.
- Use scheduling software and tools to manage and report on project timelines and milestones.
- Adhere to ethical, safety, and quality standards.
- Journeyperson Trades, Engineering Technology Diploma, and/or Engineering Degree, or equivalent will be considered.
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical/piping project scheduling and planning, preferably in large-scale industrial and/or heavy industrial projects.
- Proficiency in project management and scheduling software and tools (such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar) with the ability to schedule and program projects, create master schedules, reporting, etc.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a dynamic work environment.
- Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent interruptions and tight deadlines.
- Positive attitude and flexibility with adapting to changes in project scope and schedules.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, owners, contractors, construction teams, contractors, and engineers.
- Problem-solving mindset, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing scheduling challenges.
- Experience in the mining, potash, or industrial sectors is considered an asset.
