Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities
• Process medication orders and verify their accuracy and completeness
• Prepare and compound prescriptions according to established protocols
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information and medication orders
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance pharmacy services

Requirements
• Grade 12 and graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Current practicing registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
