Operating Room Nurse

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse to join our team at Health Careers in Sask. As a key member of our surgical team, you will provide high-quality patient care during the pre-operative, operative, and post-operative phases of care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or concerns
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Document patient information and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements:
- Perioperative Nursing/Licensed Practical Nurse advanced certificate
- Practical Nursing diploma
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure
- Perioperative Care Specialty endorsement
Working Conditions:
This is a part-time temporary position with a 0.75 FTE. The successful candidate will work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, evenings, and weekends. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary:
The salary for this position is $38.860 to $41.640 per hour, with a 3-step range.
