We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist II to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Regional Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing clinical pharmacy practice, drug information, and pharmacy education services to our patients and healthcare professionals.



About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a registered pharmacist to highlight their knowledge, skills, and abilities in a new and dynamic environment. You will work closely with our Regional Director, Pharmacy Services, to perform a range of tasks, including clinical pharmacy practice, drug information, and pharmacy education.



Key Responsibilities


  • Provide clinical pharmacy practice services to patients and healthcare professionals
  • Develop and implement drug information services to support patient care
  • Provide pharmacy education to healthcare professionals and students
  • Collaborate with the Regional Director, Pharmacy Services, to develop and implement pharmacy services
  • Perform other related duties as required


Requirements


  • Registration with the BC College of Pharmacists
  • Minimum of two years' hospital experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to organize workload, establish priorities, function effectively and efficiently, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to provide instruction and/or supervision to students
  • Ability to operate related equipment
  • Physical ability to carry out the functions of this position
