Job Description for Cook at Victoria Sushi

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Victoria Sushi. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to meet the expectations of our discerning customers.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Clean and maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment to meet health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, standing for extended periods and working under pressure to meet deadlines.
