About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Second Family Care. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and hygiene assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, medication management, and ambulation
  • Support clients with physical therapy exercises and activities to maintain their mobility and strength
  • Assist clients with shopping and errands, and provide companionship and social support
  • Work collaboratively with our healthcare team to develop and implement personalized care plans for each client
Requirements
  • PSW certificate meeting technical and practical standards
  • Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • CPR certificate
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work different shifts, including nights and weekends
