Job Title: Personal Support Worker

Second Family Care is seeking a certified Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our team in Carp. As a PSW, you will provide reliable, comprehensive, and quality care to our clients in their homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, incontinence care, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), including laundry, light housekeeping, meals, and nutrition.
  • Provide companionship, social, and emotional support.
  • Accompany clients on errands and to appointments.
  • Work with a professional healthcare team to follow a client's plan of care and goals.
Qualifications:
  • PSW certificate meeting technical and practical standards.
  • Clear enhanced police record check.
  • Able to acquire a valid CPR/BLS certificate.
  • Able to complete WHMIS training.
  • Reliable transportation.
