Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and team-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at 2504983 Ontario Inc OA Subway Sandwich. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a fast-paced environment
    • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately
    • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the dining area, kitchen, and storage areas
    • Sanitize equipment and utensils according to health and safety standards
    • Dispose of trash and recyclables in a responsible manner
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Receive and store inventory, including food and supplies
    • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management
    • Restock supplies and equipment as needed
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work effectively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
    • Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and colleagues
    • Participate in training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge

Working Conditions

This is a temporary position with a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends. The ideal candidate will be available to work up to 40 hours per week.
