About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at 2504983 Ontario Inc OA Subway Sandwich. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Handling: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, including portioning and wrapping foods, and operating dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take orders, and handle customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, and handle and store cleaning products.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, and keep records of the quantities of food used.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient service, and participate in training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
