Job Title: Hardwood Floor Covering Installer

H&A Contractor Inc is seeking a skilled Hardwood Floor Covering Installer to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing hardwood floors in residential settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Install hardwood floors, including hardwood strip flooring and intricate patterns
  • Conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations
  • Prepare floors for installations, including removing existing floor coverings and contaminants
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in flooring installation
  • Ability to work in a dusty environment
  • Physically demanding work, including handling heavy loads and bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and hand-eye coordination
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and gloves required
