Job Title: Hardwood Floor Covering Installer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hardwood Floor Covering Installer to join our team at H&A Contractor Inc.

Job Description:Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered with hardwood flooring
  • Prepare and install hardwood floors, ensuring a high-quality finish
  • Conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants, and prepare floors for installations
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installations
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in hardwood floor installation
  • Permanent employment with 40 to 44 hours per week
  • Ability to work in a dusty environment and handle heavy loads
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and ability to distinguish between colors
  • Client-focused, organized, and a team player
Work Environment:
  • Residential settings with various locations
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
Language:
  • English is the primary language of communication
