As a Business Technology Student, you will play a critical role in supporting our district's technology infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tier 1 and 2 support to district staff, including setup and configuration of new users, printers, and workstations.
- Participate in upgrades and rollouts, ensuring minimal disruption to our operations.
- Assist with equipment asset and licensing management, ensuring compliance and optimal utilization.
- Track, escalate, and follow up on IT-related issues, ensuring prompt resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Support the movement of hardware equipment between sites, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
Requirements:
- Proficient knowledge of computing hardware, including Microsoft Office and basic hardware support.
- Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Basic hardware and networking skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Ability to lift up to 45-50 lbs, with a focus on safety and ergonomics.
